Chicken George Waffle House

I'm so excited to finally have the opportunity to review Chicken George's Waffle House. I am here to say, I loved everything about this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and it felt like home. The restaurant itself was very clean and had a small town southern feel. The patrons were a healthy blend of ethnicities that could all appreciate the delicious and proper food served here. Now, on to the food. The food was proper and modestly priced. It was so good. The chicken had a light and delicate crust that didn't leave me feeling weighed down and tired. The fry was even and the color was perfectly golden. They definitely use fresh oil for frying. It was also perfectly seasoned. Nor at all overly salty. It reminded me of my mother's fried chicken. I had the CG#1 lunch combo (2 pieces of chicken, a waffle, and beans and rice for the side). My family and I could smell a pleasantly sweet aroma emanating from the boxes (we orded to-go) and that smell was the waffle. The waffles here aren't ordinary waffles. I'm not sure how they make them but they definitely add some spices to them and they are very very good. They're soft, fluffy, and full of flavor. I did not expect much from the beans and rice and I generally don't expect much from side dishes. I was shocked to find them too, bursting with flavor. If you're in San Bernardino, or even if you're not from San Bernardino, Chicken George Waffle House is must try. Be patient waiting for food, because it will be well worth the wait. I could tell a lot of love has gone into this restaurant and it is family owned which is lovely to see. Thank You guys. I genuinely enjoyed the experience provided by your establishment.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The food was PHENOMENAL. I ordered the CG lunch combo (waffle, 2 pieces choice of chicken, a side and a drink). I could not finish it all! Did take a while but because everything was being freshly made and the staff were constantly updating us. They even gave us 2 extra pieces of chicken strips! I definitely recommend this spot.

Great customer service. Amazing food! I've been looking for a good Chicken & Waffles place just like this. I will definitely tell everyone about it. I will be back over & over. Roscoes ain't got nothin' on you!

I went in order food take a minute I know it's freshly Cooked , The Waffle With Peach's toppings is Fire The Chicken is Freshly Fried and a Good fountain Drink ..

The chicken is PERFECT especially dipped in the gravy! The greens taste like home and you have to try cali sunset drink. The staff/owners are very friendly and you can tell they love what they do. The bathrooms were nice and clean. We will definitely be back!

Great customer service. Delicious Food. I ordered to go. I ordered the lunch chicken and waffles meal which is 2pc chicken of your choice, 1 side(greens), & a drink. I ordered a root beer float. Everything was flavorful. The chicken was nice and crispy. I will be back soon. There's so much variety so I'm looking forward to trying other things.

Yes yes yes yes, this is the IEs and San Bernardinos Chicken and Waffles.. This place has good food that will have you with the itis after eating it. Meaning you will be full and satisfied and read for a good nap. The chicken is crispy on the outside and nice and juice on the inside. The waffles are perfectly thin with a cinnamon vanilla taste. Mmmm good. Their Red bird Chicken Sandwich is the one everyone should been fighting over. Go support this place and show some love, its totally worth it.
